Privacy Statement The Airmen’s Stories – AC1 W Lowther
Walter Lowther joined the RAF about June 1940. He volunteered for aircrew and was sent on a short radar course, after which he joined 219 Squadron around July/August 1940.
He flew his last sortie with 219 on 2nd September 1940.
His subsequent service is currently undocumented but it is believed that he survived the war.
