Privacy Statement The Airmen’s Stories – Sgt. G A Hewett

 

Gordon Arthur Hewett joined the RAFVR about July 1938 as an Airman u/t Pilot. Called up on 1st September 1939, he completed his training and was serving with 607 Squadron at Usworth in early July 1940.

He was commissioned in August 1941.

His subsequent service is currently undocumented until 3rd May 1944 when he had to relinquish his commission due to ill-health.
