Privacy Statement The Airmen’s Stories – Sgt. M Gray
Malcolm Gray joined the RAFVR about July 1938 as an Airman u/t Pilot. Called up on 1st September 1939, he completed his training and joined 72 Squadron in June 1940.
He was shot down and killed in Spitfire N3093 on 5th September 1940, the aircraft came down in Elham Park Wood.
Gray was 20 and is buried in Fulford Cemetery, North Yorkshire.
