Privacy Statement The Airmen’s Stories – Sgt. L Fox
Lawrence Fox joined the RAFVR about June 1940 as an Aircrafthand. He later volunteered for aircrew duties and went to Yatesbury for a short radar course. He then joined 29 Squadron at Digby in early October.
He flew his first operational sortie on 8th October and his second, and final, sortie on the 13th. By early December 1940 Fox had been posted away from 29 Squadron.
Fox was promoted to Warrant Officer on 1st October 1942. His subsequent service is currently undocumented.
