Privacy Statement The Airmen’s Stories – P/O R J Candy
Robert John Candy was commissioned in May 1940 as a direct-entry Air Gunner. He joined 25 Squadron on 6th July, flew one operational sortie on the 12th and was posted to 98 Squadron in Iceland on the 15th.
He was posted to 264 Squadron on 10th December 1940 and later served with 12 Squadron.
His subsequent service is currently undocumented until 1945, when he was released from the RAF as a Flight Lieutenant.
